The best experience I had this semester was when I got my grades for my building tecnology
classes. I got an "A" in both plan check and the International Building Code, I knew I was doing well in both but wasnt expecting an "A". I guess it go's to show if you really apply yourself you
can do whatever you set your mind to. I have been in the building trades all my life, and had no idea how hard it would be to learn what the codes are.

Some are some arent. Globel warming is important but there doesnt seem to be much anyone
can do. I do what I can as an indivual but I am only one person, if more people got involved
it probley would make a difference. I dont drive anymore then I have to, and when I do drive
I try and ride my motorcycle. The emissions from it are alot lower then from a car and it gets better gas mileage. I dont use convential heat I use wood for heat in the winter. I generate most of my own power with water and soliar. I also compost what ever I can if I cant compost it I burn it.

To me the best way to reduce violence is try and get as many illegal guns and drugs off the street as possible. There are way to many drugs out there for people to get there hands on
and act like fools when they are under the influance. Drug addicts will do anything to get
drugs even steal or hurt someone to get what they need. I think if there were less people
making it so easy to get drugs there wouldnt be so much violence. I also think if it wasn't so
easy to get anykind of a gun there wouldnt be so much violence. A person with a gun gets to
feeling like they are 10 feet tall and bulletproof. Someone with a gun has a tendency to use it
needlessly. Because most people are affraid of guns and will do what they have to to keep from being shot.

I am most afraid of crashing on a motorcycle or in a car and burning to death. I am not afraid of
dieing I just dont want to die like that. From what I have read and been told burning to death is the most painful way of dieing. To me death is'nt a bad thing you dont have any worries any-
more atleast I hope one doesnt. I feel if there is a heaven and hell we are in hell here on earth.
You have PG&E on your back all the time, you have AT&T wanting something from you, all these compants want something and they want it every month or else. I deal with this fear the
best way one can, I try not to put myself in harms way. Sometimes that is really hard because people dont pay attention all the time, and change lanes on you or pull out in front of you because they arent looking. Like I sad I am not affraid of death and hope when I do die I will be with my family members who are already dead. And can not have to worrry about anything
anymore.

What I like the most about where I live is there are only 127 people in the town all total.
Everybody knows everybody and if something happens and a person needs help the town is there to help. My closest neighbor is a 1/2 mile away and for a neighbor you couldnt ask for a better one. I don't have PG&E I run my house off of a generator and solar power, I also have
a pelton wheel that generates power from water. I dont have any heat in my house except for
a wood stove, and the stove takes on the average 5 to 7 cords of wood a year to heat the house
in the winter. The only bad thing about needing that much wood is I usualy have to start collecting wood in May and hopefully can finish by September 0r October. During the winter
I spend alot of time removing snow and working on things that can be done inside.
During deer season I try to get a deer for my winter food, because sometimes I cant get out
to go to town to get real food or meat. Most people cant live like I do because they need stores
and other people around to socialize with. I don't care about socializing much because most people I know have to drink to feel social. As for stores I know we need them for certin things
but as a rule I only go to the store when I have to.

As for what I would change I would like to change the fire department. The fire department
is volunter and most of the volunters only show up when they want to. The reason being is
because they are usualy to drunk to respond. During the summer there are alot of water
rescues because people ignore the warning signs.

I would bring plenty of water and food, I would also bring some thing to start fires with and some kind of shelter maybe. If I could I would also bring a female companion to possibly past
the time with. I think if I knew I was going to an island for any period of time, I would like to be as comfortable as I could be. Thats not to say a female companion would make me very comfortable , because they can make one very uncomfortable at times. I also think if I could I would bring something to signal a plain or a boat.

I would like to be remembered as the gentel giant, but a giant not to cross. I believe in the
golden rule do unto others as you would want done to you. People atleast most people dont
seem to understand that if you do someone wrong you should expect something wrong to happen to you. That dosnt always hold true right away but sooner or later it will happen.
There has been a movie made about gentel giants called Harry and The Hendersons.
Harry was a giant that was as gentel as a new born child, but if you did him wrong he would
let you know it. Letting someone know they have done you wrong doesnt mean you have to
hurt them, you just need to let it be known that something wrong is going to happen to them in return sooner or later.

More then likely I will be dead because I am already old and living on barrowed time.
But if I were alive I would like to think there would be world peace, and there would be
a cure for all the illnesses. But being realistic there will still be people dying of illnesses
because the government and big business wont let it happen. I have lost two family
members to cancer and about to loose my girlfriend to cancer also. There is a cure for
all kinds of cancers theae days but once again there isnt any money in cures.

I have a friend who is in research at UCLA and she told me they have found a way to treat
Aids as well as most cancers. I am hoping the public someday will get together as a whole,
and put a stop to the way the government controls medicen. What bothers me more then
anything is by the time that happens more people will be gone needlessly.

If I am still alive in 20 years I hope that everything I have done in my life hasnt been a waste.
By that I mean I hope to of been able to use all I have learned to help someone else learn.

The world has changed so much I dont even want to think about it . When I was growing up things were more family oreinated. It seemed people cared about one another more insted of only looking out for themselves and what they could get out of you..
When I was growing up people would stop to help you if you were broke down on the side of the road. Now days people are to affraid to stop because they are worried they might be hurt or even killed. There was more concern in ones fellow man it seemed. The government was still just as currept as they are today. I wet to war for my country because they said communisum was a bad thing and it was going to come to the United States if it wasnt stoped. I learned the government only wanted to steal the resources of another country for themselves.

Young men were killed needlessly because they were told you are defending your country.
I could go on and on but what for nothing has changed the government still (LIES) to the
people and why young men are still dieing needlesly. To me the world has changed for the bad not the good!

The perfect day for me would be about 75 degrees outside sun shining no clouds roads dry and
me somewhere on the coast on my motorcycle. I have been riding motorcycles for 45 years
all types of motorcycles. My favorate motorcycle is Harley Davidson , I have owned somwhere
around 16. Out of the 16 I built 7 of them from the frame up, including the engine and transmissions. Today I own a 2006 Dyna Wide Glide that has had the engine modifyed to
produce 93 horsepower to the rear tire. I also own a 1999 GSXR 1000 that has also had the engine modifyed to put out 118 horsepower to the rear tire. The Suzuki is my favorate one to ride in the mountins because it handles really well in the corners. The Harley is better on the open road because it is heavy and rides really soft. I have ridden across the United States 3 times as well as to Sturgis 18 times. I have been caught in the rain, snow, windstorms, sworms of grasshoppers, and flocks of birds. Out of all that the snow was the worst. Once you get cold
its hard to get warm even when you are in front of a fire.

To be able to get the most out of my time at Butte College is to be willing to be at school come rain or shine.

I have been going to Butte College for three semesters now and hope to get my A.S. degree

in building technology by the end of spring 2007.

I have been doing what I feel is an honest effort to get what I need out of school .

I am taking classes that I never had to take in high school and I am learning what seems to be at times

a little overwellming .
